Ingredients for two:- Half a half-baked baguette (or a half-baked half-baguette)
- One bulb [sic] of garlic
- 1/2 stick (2 oz) of butter
- Dash of salt
- Fresh-ground pepper
- Dash of dried dill
Preparation: - Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F
- Break up garlic bulb and get garlic cloves ready for garlic press
- Put butter into a small pan on medium heat
- Once butter is melted, press all the garlic into it
- Stir immediately
- Add salt, pepper and dill
- Stir for a minute or so until garlic is slightly browned
- Switch off heat to pan
- Cut half-baguette in half (length-wise)
- Put baguette halves on baking sheet, inside facing up
- Spread butter/garlic mix over the baguettes
- Bake for 8 minutes
- Pull out once it's slightly browned (don't overbake)
- Serve warm.
